In the autumn of 2015 and spring of 2016 we, Anna-Lena Brundin and Jan Sigurd, recorded 14 original songs and standards with new Swedish lyrics. It became: ”Jazz för skeppsbrutna” (Jazz for the shipwrecked). A swinging CD for the soul.

Anna-Lena Brundin & Jan Sigurd are dedicated jazz lovers working in the tradition od nordic jazz. This is Swedish vocal jazz inspired by Monica Zetterlund, Beppe Wolgers, Lars Gullin, Jan Johansson – and with a touch of Chet Barker and Bill Evans. There is perhaps a certain melancholy feel to the tracks, aiming at the heart of the listener.
